Hello! My name is Kate Shell. I’m 31 years old, and I’m from Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. I’m currently living in Aranjuez, Spain (near Madrid) working as an English teacher. After spending several years in education and subsequently moving into the field of informational technology, I was in desperate need of a change. When I got the opportunity to live and work in Spain, I grabbed it. It was the best decision I could have made!
I am a Global Corporate Trainer & Executive Coach. My background is Finance and Banking. I took an extended career break of 10 years after having my children then set up my business “Stressed In The City” a few years back. I work with professionals to help them overcome any career challenges and to position them to capitalise on their career opportunities.
One of the ways we travel around the world is by housesitting. We look after people’s homes and pets while they are away. We deliberately choose homes with pets because we love spending time with animals! I can hear some of you asking out loud right now, “What exactly is house sitting?”
My name is Ryan Connolly. I’m a 32 year old Scotsman living in Iceland. I run an adventure tour company in Iceland, called Hidden Iceland. I am the Marketing Manager and co-founder of the company along with local expert, Dagný Björg Stefánsdóttir and Australian geologist, Scott Drummond. I am currently running a boutique adventure tour company called Hidden Iceland that specialises in glacier hikes, ice cave exploration, northern lights hunting and off the beaten path travel.
Words are powerful things. They can inform, persuade, evoke and ultimately sell, sell, sell whatever it is you want to sell, sell, sell – but only if you put them in the right order.
I’m Sophia, communications professional turned newbie activist. Office worker turned business owner. Rule follower to rule breaker. Long-term traveller who returned back home. Since October 2018 I’ve changed nearly every aspect of my life. One big aspect is ‘career’. I’m dedicating the next decade of my life to the climate crisis.
