Hi everyone, I’m Steph! I grew up in Rhode Island and am currently based just outside Boston. Admittedly, that doesn’t sound like a very big move, although I’ve also spent time living in London, Edinburgh, and Havana along the way to where I am now.
In my daily life, my career is mostly in medical editing, but in my spare time I’m outside as much as possible. I’m a swimmer, runner, skier, and scuba diver, and I love to travel.
My name is Jenny and I’m originally from Munich, Germany but haven’t lived there for the past 10+ years. In my old life, I was a chemist, I even got a PhD in chemistry, but after I finished I wanted a complete change of scenery and went travelling on a round-the-world trip with my boyfriend which was supposed to last 1 year. We travelled for about a year and then worked in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa for a year before starting to work online and living the digital nomad lifestyle.
I always find the first two weeks of arriving anywhere to be a time of feeling unsettled. Even if we’ve been there before. It usually takes that two weeks of time to form out routines again, feel out our favourite spots, find our rhythm in the area (sometimes all over again).
I’m Elly, I’m 33 years old, I’m a freelance journalist and I’ve been location independent for the past eight years. Prior to that I worked as a journalist and editor in London and Dubai. I spent my teenage years in Thailand and took my first ever solo trip when I was about 9 years old to visit a school friend in Spain!
This year hasn’t gone to plan at all, as is life. There have been both surprise and planned celebrations, unexpected worries, little hiccups along the way providing challenges/hurdles and also impromptu surprise opportunities.
I am Jes. I am 28 years old. British, but have spent most of my adult life abroad. I love watersports, beaches, being warm and working with clients who change the world for good. Hopefully this interview will explain who I am a bit further. Right now, I have 6 crowdfunding campaigns live for my clients. They vary from tech-for-good, sustainable fashion, animal rescue, community development. Other than that I am working on preparing my business, Crowdfund 360 for 2020.
